Etické dilemy sociálneho pracovníka pri práci s deťmi
Ethical dilemmas for social workers working with children

Zámerom príspevku je zamyslieť sa nad vybranými dilemami sociálnej práce s deťmi,
mladými dospelými a ich rodinou v detskom domove. Osobitne sa budeme venovať
praktickým dilemám, ktoré vyplývajú z jednotlivých špecifík detí mladých dospelých a ich
rodiny, dilemám, ktoré vyplývajú zo sociálnej práce, je kombináciou intervencií na rôznych
systémových úrovniach a etickým dilemám poradenskej resp.- sociálnej práce s dieťaťom,
mladým dospelým. Našim cieľom nie je predstaviť rôznorodosť riešenia poskytnutých otázok,
príspevok má za cieľ skôr otvoriť diskusiu k danej téme. Riešenie otázok ostáva
v kompetencií relevantných inštitúcií, resp. organizácií, ktoré zabezpečujú sociálnu prácu pre
deti a pre ich rodinu a na sociálnych pracovníkov samotných. Jedna zo základných
podmienok práce sociálneho pracovníka v poradenstve je humánny prístup ku klientovi.
Etické správanie predpokladá úctu k sebe i k druhému človeku, schopnosť empatie,
zodpovednosť vziať aj morálne rozhodovanie, potreby a legislatívne záujmy človeka
a spoločnosti.

Abstract
The aim of this report is to take a think on the perplexities chosen social work with children,
young adults and their family in the foster home. Specifically, we will describe the practical
dilemmas that arise from the specifics of individual children, young adults and their families
dilemmas arising from social work, which is a combination of interventions at different
system levels and ethical dilemmas - counselling or social work with the child, young adults.
Our aim is to present a variety of solutions to the questions provided, the allowance is
intended rather to open a discussion on this topic. Addressing issues remain in charge of the
relevant institutions, respectively organizations that provide social work for children and their
families and social workers themselves. One of the basic conditions of employment of social
workers in counseling is the humane approach to the client. Ethical behavior presupposes
respect for and to each other man, empathy, the ability to take into account when deciding the
appropriate moral and legal interests of man and society.
