"Make Corrections Noted" shall not be resubmitted during the submittal process.
F. Submittals shall include the following specified materials and, in addition, any materials
not listed below but which are specified in the individual sections of Division 23 which
follow:
Pipe Markers.
Water treatment equipment, including water softeners.
Valves, including pressure relief and pressure regulating.
Pumps.
Tanks, including expansion and fuel storage.
Thermometers and pressure gauges.
Boilers, burners, trim and feed equipment.
Piping specialties, including hot water and steam.
Supports, anchors and seals.
Expansion compensators.
Flexible pipe connectors.
Water flow meters.
Vibration isolators.
Insulation, including plastic pipe fitting insulation covers and manufacturer's
installation instructions.
Heat exchangers.
Terminal heat transfer units.
Air conditioning equipment and specialties.
Fans, ductwork, dampers, louvers, grilles, registers and diffusers.
Automatic control systems.
Wiring diagrams, control panelboards, motor test data, motors, starters and
controls for electrically operated equipment furnished by mechanical trades.
Identify each item with specification section and sufficient data to certify its compliance with the
specifications.
1.20 JOB SITE PERSONNEL:
A. Furnish the services of an experienced superintendent who shall be constantly in charge of
all installation work and shall supervise all skilled workmen, plumbers, fitters, metal
workers, welders, helpers, and labor required to unload, transfer, erect, connect-up,
adjust, start, operate, and test each system.
1.21 WORKMANSHIP:
A. The appearance of the finished work shall be of equal importance with its mechanical
efficiency. All work shall be done in accordance with acceptable commercial practices.
1.22 QUIET OPERATION AND VIBRATION:
A. Mechanical equipment provided under this contract shall operate under all load conditions
without noise or vibration which is objectionable in the opinion of the Engineer. In the
case of rotating machinery, noise or vibration noticeable outside of the room in which it is
installed, or annoyingly noticeable inside its own room, will be considered objectionable.
Noise or vibration conditions considered objectionable by the Engineer shall be corrected
