C. Locate ceiling air diffusers, registers, and grilles as indicated on general construction
"Reflected Ceiling Plans." Unless otherwise indicated, locate units in center of acoustical
ceiling modules. All ceiling-mounted air devices shall be installed and supported per
manufacturer’s recommendations and per applicable codes.
D. Louvers shall be installed per architectural details and/or manufacturer’s recommendations.
Frames shall be caulked weather-tight to the structure using approved material from
Division 7.
E. Directional throw patterns for diffusers and registers shall be furnished and/or adjusted to
match those shown and/or scheduled on the drawings.
F. Ductwork visible behind grilles, registers, and diffusers shall be painted flat black.
G. Appropriate A k factors shall be furnished to the Section 230593 Test and Balance
Contractor.
3.03 SPARE PARTS:
A. Furnish to Owner, with receipt, three operating keys for each type of air outlet and inlet that
requires them.
