Aldermen, called by the Acting
Mayor to receive and take action
on communications from the
Acting Mayor, all the members
having "been duly notified in
writing, City Hall, Somerville,
March'6, 1948, 6 p.m.
The Vice-president, Alderman Brady, presiding-.
The President, Alderman Mallard, was present in the
Board of Aldermen's Chamber, but was not seated.
Aldermen Ryan, McCarthy, Reynolds, Stackpole, Hall,
Butler, Capuano and Whitney present.
Reading of records commenced; further reading dispensed
with under a suspension of the rules and records
approved by yea and nay vote, Aldermen Ryan, Reynolds, Stackpole,
Hall, Butler, Capuano, Whitney and Vice-president Brady,
8, voting in the affirmative; Aldermen Kurd and McCarthy, 2,
being absent at this stage of the meeting; President Mallard
not present.
