The President, Alderman Mallard presiding.<br />

Aldermen Ryan, McCarthy, Reynolds, Stackpole, Hall,<br />

Butler, Capuano, Whitney and Vice-president Brady present.<br />

Reading <strong>of</strong> records commenced; further reading dispensed<br />

with under a suspension <strong>of</strong> the rules and records approved<br />

by yea and nay vote/ Aldermen Ryan, McCarthy/ Reynolds<br />

Stackpole, Hall, Butler, Capuano, Whitney, Vice-president<br />

Brady and the President, 10, voting In the affirmative; Alderman<br />

Hurd, 1, being absent at this stage <strong>of</strong> the meeting*<br />

JURORS<br />

Received a venire for the drawing <strong>of</strong> five men to<br />

serve as Traverse Jurors at the Superior Court* to be holden<br />

at Cambridge, the persons so drawn to appear and attend at<br />

the first sesaion <strong>of</strong> said Court, on Monday, tne first day <strong>of</strong><br />

March, 19^6, at 10 A.M.<br />

The box containing the names being shaken and the<br />

slips or ballots bearing the names being mixed, Aldermen<br />

Butler and Capuano, being designated for that purpose, drew<br />

from the box and read aloud names as follows i<br />

The slips or ballots bearing the names were passed<br />

by the Aldermen to the President, who verified the names and<br />

passed them to the <strong>City</strong> Clerk, who aleo verified the names<br />

by reading them aloud from said ellps or ballots, which were<br />

then duly endorsed and returned to the Jury box.<br />

HEARINGS<br />

Due notice <strong>of</strong> the hearings having been given by the<br />

<strong>City</strong> Clerk in the manner provided by law and provided by or-<br />

dinance, hearings were given to all persons desiring to be
