Dr. Hurd'd death is a great loss to this community,
a very noble, kind, and real public spirited lady on all
occasions.
• ^ jDr. Kurd was much interested in all civic and
charitable affairs, in her lifetime, having .served the
people of Ward 4 and the city, for many years, faithfully
and efficiently. I always found this lady to be most cooperative
and one worthy o'f trust and confidence.
