Aldermen Ryan, McCarthy, Reynolds, Stackpole, Hall,
Butler", Capuaho, Whitney ana Vice-president Brady present*
Reading of records commenced; further reading dispensed
with under a suspension of the rules and records approved
by yea and nay vote, Aldermen Ryan, McCarthy, Reynolds,
Hall, Butler, Capuano, Whitney, Vice-president Brady and the
President, 9» voting in the affirmative, Alderman Stackpole,
1, being absent at this stage of the meeting.
JURORS
Received a venire for the drawing of four men to
serve as Traverse Jurors at the Superior Court, to be holden
at Lowell, the persons so drawn to appear and attend at the
first session of said Court, at Cambridge/ on Wednesday,
the eighth day of September, 19^3, at 10 A.M. (Criminal business)
The box containing the names being shaken, and the
slips or ballots bearing the names being mixed, Aldermen
Whitney and Capuano being designated for that purpose, drew
from the box and read aloud names as follows:

The slips or ballots bearing the names were passed
by the Aldermen to the president, who verified the names and
passed them to the City Clerk, who also verified the names
by reading them aloud from said slips or ballots, which were
then duly endorsed and returned to the Jury box.
