Resolution RESOLUTION 74160 WHEREAS: It was with profound regret that this Board of Aldermen learned of the death of the esteemed JAMES W« KENNEY. a former member of the Somervllle Board of Aldermen, and a former Comptroller of the Boston Public Library, and WHEREAS: His passing has deprived our city of a faithful and efficient public official, a former associate and a leader who brought distinction to his city, and whose exemplary character and true friendship, merited the sincere respect and esteem of all the people of Somerville, and WHEREAS: His many contributions to the welfare of our community and his assiduous efforts toward the advancement of our city, whose needs he was ever mindful of, brings to us a deep sensibility of a great loss to the community, be It therefore RESOLVED: That we, the members of this Board of Aldermen in session assembled, hereby express our deep sympathy to hia wife and family, in this, their hour of extreme bereavement, and be it further RESOLVED: That these resolutions be spread upon the records of the Board of Aldermen ~bf the City of Somerville, and that copies of same be sent to Mrs* Kenney and family.
