That the Chief of Police make ar-
rangements for a Police officer at the intersection of Mys-
tic and Middlesex Avenues between the hours of ^ to 6 P.M.
for pedestrian relief, because of the extra heavy 1 traffic
of employees of the First Rational Stores,--Ford Motor Com-
pany and other industrial plants in that area.

daily, patrons of the M:T.A. System, the Officals of .the
-Metropolitan Transit Authoritj are requested to arrange
for a bus stop outbound between ball and powder House
Squares, thereby assisting residents of that immediate
vicinity required at present to use stop's inconvenient to
their residences.

That his honor the Mayor and the
Chief of police and the Commissioner of Lights and Lines
make provisions for a set of Portable Visual Traffic Slg-
nals for use of th^ police Department^ in conducting a
children's Educational Campaign in our Schools on the
matter of safety and proper understanding and compliance
with Traffic Signals operation.

and the Superintendent of the Sanitary Department collabp-
rate in the attachment of snow plows to the new Sanitary
Truck5_Jo make them available for Immediate use for the
removal of snow and report in writing the installation
of the first plow attachments and upon ths last installa-
tion and to immediately report the number of additional
blades necessary to completely equip all the new Sanitary
trucks.,.
