ment, His honor the Mayor is requested by the members <strong>of</strong><br />

this Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen to consider the advisability In<br />

conjunction with the Superintendent <strong>of</strong> the Sanitary De-<br />

partment, <strong>of</strong> granting an increase in wages <strong>of</strong> $5.00 per<br />

week for tats lifters and shakers <strong>of</strong> the ash trucks and<br />

&6.00 per week for working Foremen and General Foremen.<br />

and August' 10> 1948 are hereby designated, as fo_llows_,<br />

Precinct 1. A Room in the Northeastern Junior High School,<br />

Precinct 2.<br />

The Board <strong>of</strong> Election Commissioners are hereby<br />

directed to cause printed descriptions <strong>of</strong> the polling places<br />

for the Ward to be posted in at least six public places in<br />

each precinct <strong>of</strong> the Ward, the expense so incurred to be<br />

charged to tha Board <strong>of</strong> Election Commissioners Account.<br />

The Commissioner <strong>of</strong> Public Buildings is hereby<br />

directed to cause the said polling places to be provided<br />

and suitably prepared for the purposes <strong>of</strong> said primaries<br />

and election, the expense so incurred to be charged to<br />

Election Expenses, Commissioner <strong>of</strong> Public Buildings Account.<br />

The hours for opening the polls at<br />

the Preliminary Special Election and the Special Election<br />

for Alderman for V/ard Four shall be eight o'clock In the<br />

morning and the hour for closing same shall be eight<br />
