of the Board of Aldermen is hereby amended by striking
out the second paragraph which reads "The President may at

the following new paragraphi-

Alderman Capuano offered the following order,

That American Surety Company, the surety
on sign permit bond 45233-K, said bond being given to
secure the City of Somorville on account of_a _licena~e
issued on order of Board' of ^Aldermen" to 'The Coca Cola
Fountain Sales for a sign over the sid'ewalk at 235 Eljn St.,
on June 13, 1935, be and It hereby is released from further
liability as surety on jsaid^ bond,_j>rovided," however,
that t'his release shall not affect or^ release the liability
of the said surety on account of any obligation
arising in connection with said bond prior to the date of
the approval of this order by the Mayor.
The said sign having been taken down, the license
granted to The COca c ola Fountain Sales for a sign over
the sidewalk at 235 Elm St., Somerville is hereby revoked.
Upon the approval of this order by the Mayor, the
City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this
order to the surety company above mentioned,
