The sidewalks are in a deplorable condition and
are a constant hazard to the students using the walks dally.

The Commissioner of Electric Lines
and Lights is requested to confer with the Department of
Public Works of the Commonwealth with the purpose of 1m-
proving the lighting conditions near the Bridge on McGrath
Highway located near the A. & P. Warehouse, also Bridge
near Medford St* in view of recent improvements and re- /
surfacing of highway, darkened areas are no.w In evidence.
This condition is causing a hazard at the approach to the
Bridge and better illumination o.f that area should be made
if a survey shows that location is not amply lighted so as
