this Board of Aldermen receive this evening the notice of"
the retirement of Thomas Gillis of the Highway Department.,

- WHEREAS: Mr. Gillis has faithfully and efficiently
performed many years of competent service as a
member of that Department, be it
RESOLVED:
that the membe rs of this Board of
Aldermen extend to him at this time our appreciation for
the_exemplary service he has rendered the people of our
City, and take pleasure in wishing him many years of
happiness and good health to come, and be it further
RESOLVED: that the City Clerk be requested to
send a copy of this resolution to Mr. Thomas Gillis.
