i i i i Regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen, City Hall, Somerville, May 14, 1948, 8 P.M. The President, Alderman Mallard presiding. Aldermen Ryan, McCarthy, Reynolds, Stackpole, Hall, Butler, Capuano, Whitney and Vice-president Brady present. Reading of records commenced; further reading dispensed with under a suspension of the rules and records approved by yea and nay vote, Aldermen Ryan, Stackpole, Butler, •Capuano, Whitney and the President, 6, voting in the affirmative; Aldermen Hurd, McCarthy, Reynolds, Hall and Vice-president Brady, 5, being absent at this stage of the meeting. JURORS Received a special venire for the drawing of five men to serve as Traverse Jurors at the Superior Court, now In session at Lowell, the persons so drawn to appear and attend at the Lowell session-of said Court on Monday, the Seventh .day of June, 1948,. at 10 A.M. The box containing the names being shaken and the slips or ballots bearing the names being mixed, Aldermen Ryan and Stackpole, being designated for that purpose,, drew from the box and read aloud names as follows: 1.
