the Board)<br />

The Vice-president, Alderman Brady presiding.<br />

Aldermen Ryan, Radochla, McCarthy, Reynolds,<br />

Staclcpole, Hall, Butler, Capuano, Whitney and President<br />

Mallard present.<br />

Reading <strong>of</strong> records commenced, further reading<br />

dispensed with under a suspension <strong>of</strong> the rules and<br />

records approved by yea and nay vote, Aldermen Ryan,<br />

McCarthy, Reynolds, Hall, Capuano, Whitney and'Vicepresident<br />

Brady, 7, voting in the affirmative, Aldermen<br />

Radochia, Stackpole, Butler and President Mallard, ^,<br />

being absent at this stage <strong>of</strong> the meeting.<br />

JURORS<br />

Received a venire for the drawing <strong>of</strong> five men<br />

to serve as traverse Jurors,at the Superior Court to be<br />

holden at Cambridge, the persons so drawn to appear and<br />

attend at the first session <strong>of</strong> said Court on Monday, the<br />

seventh day <strong>of</strong> February, 19^9, at 10 A.M. (Criminal business)<br />

The box containing the names being shaken and<br />

the slips or ballots bearing the names being mixed, Aldermen<br />

Hall and Stackpole being designated for that<br />

purpose, drew from the box and read aloud names as follows;<br />

The slips or ballots bearing the names were<br />

passed by the Aldermen to the Vice-president, who verified<br />

the names and passed them to the <strong>City</strong> Clerk, who<br />

also verified the names by reading them aloud from said<br />

slips or ballots, which were then duly endorsed and returned<br />

to the Jury box.
