to be located in the town <strong>of</strong> Saugus, Mass., said application<br />

being accompanied by a report from the Chief <strong>of</strong> Police<br />

stating that upon investigation he fails to find any record<br />

<strong>of</strong> the above mentioned persons ever having been engaged in<br />

the illegal selling <strong>of</strong> intoxicating liquors or in the keeping<br />

<strong>of</strong> places or tenements for the purpose <strong>of</strong> illegal gaming or<br />

in any other business prohibited by law and that they are<br />

persons <strong>of</strong> good repute.<br />
