Received a venire for the drawing of five men to
serve as traverse jurors at the Superior Court to be holden
at Lowell, the persons so drawn to appear and attend at the
session of said court, at said Lowell, on Monday, the third
day of May, 1948, at 10 A.M.

by the Aldermen to the President, who verified the names
and passed them to the City Clerk, who also verified the names
by reading them aloud from said slips or ballots, which were,
then duly endorsed and returned to the jury box.

I accompanied the City Engineer
this afternoon on an inspection of the wading pool at Poss
Park Playground.
I was amazed at the damage done by the winter elements,
and in order to make the pool available for the thousands
of children who use it daily during the summer sea SOB,
work must be commenced as soon as possible to repair the
damage.
Therefore, I respectfully request your Honorable
