1st* Taxes, assessments and other tax problems are
of the utmost concern to many of our citizens particularly
our new home owners.
2nd* The Board of Assessors as now constituted con-
sists of one full time chairman and four part tline assessors.
The chairman Is necessarily absent at times, appearing before
the Board of '^ax Appeals and on frequent occasions viewing
property in the City leaving the office without an Assessor
with authority to review our citizens tax problems.
3rd. One Assessor should always be available in
the office to give the service our citizens and tax payers
are entitled to.
4th. The Salary of the assistant chairman to be
designated by the Mayor.
