Honorable Board to the transfer <strong>of</strong> "$5200.00 from Scho'ol<br />

Teachers 1 Salary Account to School Committee, Contingent<br />

Account, Ordinary Maintenance.<br />

This request is necessary (1) for the immediate<br />

purchase <strong>of</strong> additional equipment for the Clerical Practice<br />

classes, the enrollment <strong>of</strong> which increased materially<br />

at the beginning <strong>of</strong> this school year without any evidence<br />

<strong>of</strong> such an Increase at the time <strong>of</strong> the preparation <strong>of</strong> the<br />

budget in 19**7» (2) for the replacement <strong>of</strong> mimeographing<br />

and typewriting equipment on which there will be substantial<br />

increases in price, which it is anticipated will<br />

be within the next fifteen days, and (3) to provide two<br />

pieces <strong>of</strong> very necessary equipment for the Vocational<br />

School, which it was expected oould be obtained without<br />

charge from War Assets.<br />
