i i i i I am attaching herewith a copy of. the report ^submitted to me by Mr. Leo C. Estee, Building Inspector, Under section 20^.0 D of the City of soraervllle Building Code, the Building Commissioner with the approval of the Mayor and the Board of Aldermen, may order a building demolished or made safe. On June 30, 19^7, the said Joseph R. Lambert appealed to the Board of Appeals from a decision 1 of the Building commissioner refusing to allow him to repair and rebuild the building. On July S, 19^7 the Board of Appeals granted Joseph R. Lambert a permit to repair and rebuild the buil&ing, which, at the present, has never been done. It is the writer's opinion that the permit granted by the Board of Appeals was good for one year only, and that since having been granted it has never been acted upon till now, it is in the same status that it was prior to the granting by the Board of Appeals. If the writer is instructed to do so by the City Solicitor, he will order this building demolished and, if necessary, remove it under Section 20^.0 D & E. JFK/ms Very respectfully yours, John F.
