The summer flowers about her will grow,<br />

The birds will sing their sweet springtime song,<br />

God's love and mercy will guard her long*",<br />

That we, her friends and colleagues, and all the<br />

citizens <strong>of</strong> <strong>Somerville</strong>, do reverently and sadlyf honor and<br />

pay homage to Dr« Edith L. Kurd, and we pray that she will<br />

ever rest in peace, and be it further<br />

RESOLVED:<br />

That these resolutions be spread upon the records <strong>of</strong><br />

the Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen, and that a copy be sent to Lyman C»<br />
