That it is hereby demanded that the
City Solicitor render the two rulings asked for by the
President of the Board of Aldermen some time ago, namely,
the status of the U-Like Cone Co., at 20^ North-SSeeet,
and the garages in the vicinity of ^9 Waterhouse Street,
that are licensed as garages and are now storing lumber.
The Building Commissioner was requested to inspect these
places on October llth, and to notify the City Solicitor
of any violation of the law, who in turn was to advise
the Board of Aldermen as to any action that may be neces-
sary to revoke any license. The Building Commissioner
submitted his decisions within forty-eight hours in each
instance. Therefore It Is now demanded that the City
