In view of the increased activities
during the Summer and vacation season and In order to af-
ford every protection to children, the Commissioner of
Streets is requested to arrange for the painting on the
street surface on Washington Street at or near Parker
Street, the words CAUTION - GO SLOW, so that motorists
approaching the entrance at the wire fence at Lincoln park
at the foot of the hill, will be so informed and prepared
in time for the sudden rushing exist of children and others
leaving the Park at that entrance between parked machines
to reach the other side of Washington Street, thereby be-
ing endangered since they cannot be seen until they are in
the middle of that active highway.
