and further the Superintendent shall continue to post such<br />

notices until such time as his department returns to its<br />

and help clean up the streets <strong>of</strong> the city*<br />

<strong>of</strong> this Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen be extended to the entire personnel<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Sanitary Department for the splendid service<br />

they have rendered the residents o£ our <strong>City</strong> by the<br />

diligent industry and 'zeal they have displayed in the performance<br />

<strong>of</strong> their very arduous duties during the rigors<br />

and hardships <strong>of</strong> an unprecedented winter season and throughout<br />

the entire year, and be it further<br />

that we extend to them .our appreciation<br />

and gratitude for their devotion to duty, with our<br />

assurances that whenever the occasion requires it, they<br />

will find this Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen steadfast and loyal to<br />

their best interests and welfare.<br />

Spring Hill bus service through Summer Street to Davis<br />

Square, it Is respectfully requested that a representative<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Metropolitan Transit Authority appear at "the next<br />

meeting <strong>of</strong> this Board, May 28, 1948, at 9:00 P.E*, to dls-<br />
