MOTIONS, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS Vice-president Brady offered the following order and draft of ordinance, Ordered: That the President appoint a committee of five members of the Board of Aldermen to investigate all Instances of complaints with regards to the sale of sub-standard milk and -other products which have come to the attention of the Board of Health during the past three years in the City of Somerville^ and to report back to the Board of Aldermen at the next regular meeting, its findings'. Adopted* ORDINANCE NO In Board of Aldermen, 1948 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS ORDINANCE, REFERENCE PARKING METERS. Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Somerville that ordinance known as Traffic Regulations is hereby amended as follows: 1. By striking out certain sections (now appearing in said Traffic Regulations or Amending Ordinances thereto) listed herewith. ARTICLE 4, SECTION 13 (b) Broadway at Marshall Street. Highland Avenue from College Avenue east 100 feet. Bow Street—parallel with curbing from Union Square in a westerly direction to easterly side. Union Square between northerly side of Stone Avenue and southerly side of Warren Avenue. Union Square between Stone Avenue and westerly side of store now occupied by W. S. Howe Co. ARTICLE 4, SECTION 13 (c) " Broadway from the southwesterly corner of Marshall Street, for a distance of more than 60 feet southwesterly for more than one hour. 1A. — It is the intent of the foregoing Section 1 to strike out any and all existing ordinances conflicting with this proposed Parking Meter ordinance and it is understood and herewith made a provision in said Parking Meter ordinance that in any and all instances of confliction any previous ordinance or part thereof shall be considered as voided and Parking Meter ordinance shall be in effect. -B66.
