Vice-president Brady <strong>of</strong>fered the following order<br />

and draft <strong>of</strong> ordinance,<br />

Ordered:<br />

That the President appoint a committee<br />

<strong>of</strong> five members <strong>of</strong> the Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen to investigate<br />

all Instances <strong>of</strong> complaints with regards to the sale <strong>of</strong><br />

sub-standard milk and -other products which have come to<br />

the attention <strong>of</strong> the Board <strong>of</strong> Health during the past three<br />

years in the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Somerville</strong>^ and to report back to the<br />

Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen at the next regular meeting, its findings'.<br />

ORDINANCE NO<br />

In Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen, 1948<br />

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS ORDINANCE,<br />

REFERENCE PARKING METERS.<br />

Be it ordained by the Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Somerville</strong><br />

that ordinance known as Traffic Regulations is hereby amended as<br />

follows:<br />

1. By striking out certain sections (now appearing in said Traffic<br />

Regulations or Amending Ordinances thereto) listed herewith.<br />

ARTICLE 4, SECTION 13 (b)<br />

Broadway at Marshall Street.<br />

Highland Avenue from College Avenue east 100 feet.<br />

Bow Street—parallel with curbing from Union Square in a westerly<br />

direction to easterly side.<br />

Union Square between northerly side <strong>of</strong> Stone Avenue and southerly<br />

side <strong>of</strong> Warren Avenue.<br />

Union Square between Stone Avenue and westerly side <strong>of</strong> store<br />

now occupied by W. S. Howe Co.<br />

ARTICLE 4, SECTION 13 (c)<br />

" Broadway from the southwesterly corner <strong>of</strong> Marshall Street, for<br />

a distance <strong>of</strong> more than 60 feet southwesterly for more than<br />

one hour.<br />

1A. — It is the intent <strong>of</strong> the foregoing Section 1 to strike out any and<br />

all existing ordinances conflicting with this proposed Parking Meter ordinance<br />

and it is understood and herewith made a provision in said Parking<br />

Meter ordinance that in any and all instances <strong>of</strong> confliction any previous<br />

ordinance or part there<strong>of</strong> shall be considered as voided and Parking Meter<br />

ordinance shall be in effect.<br />
