That this Board of Aldermen request.
the Department of Public Works, Commonwealth of Massachu-
setts to consider the elimination of the continuous green
arrow traffic signal now in Operation at the Juncture of
Jjomerville Avenue and McGrath Highway on the Northern Ar-
tery turning from Somerville Avenue towards Washington
Street, Somerville, as the presence of this green light
which now changes for the benefit of pedestrians is a
constant source of danger to the people in this District
and to school children attending the Bennett School and
St. Joseph's School, and be it further
Resolved:
of this Resolution to them.

as soon as possible, whether or not the widow of the late
John Donovan, employee of the Building Department, for
twenty-five years, who sustained injuries while in the
performance of his duties as Custodian, 3.s_eliglble to re-
ceive payment of_an Annuity, other compensation or settle-
ment from the City or the Commonwealth, by reason of the
death of said employee.
