Aldermen, called by the President<br />

for any and all business<br />

that might come before the<br />

Board, all the members having<br />

been duly notified in writing,<br />

<strong>City</strong> Hall, <strong>Somerville</strong>, March 24,<br />

1948, 7.30 P.M.<br />

The President, Alderman Mallard presiding.<br />

Aldermen Ryan, McCarthy, Reynolds, Stackpole, Hall,<br />

Butler, Capuano, Whitney and Vice-president Brady present.<br />

Reading <strong>of</strong> records commenced; further reading dispensed<br />

with under a suspension <strong>of</strong> the rules and records<br />

approved by yea and nay vote, Aldermen Ryan, McCarthy,<br />

Reynolds, Stackpole, Hall, Butler, Capuano, Whitney, Vicepresident<br />

Srady and the President, 10, voting in the<br />

affirmative; Alderman Kurd, 1, being absent at this stage<br />

<strong>of</strong> the meeting.<br />

JURORS<br />

Received a Special Venire for the drawing <strong>of</strong> six men<br />

to serve as traverse jurors at the Superior Court, now in<br />

session at Cambridgei the persons so drawn to appear and<br />

attend at the second session <strong>of</strong> said Court, on Tuesday, the<br />

twentieth day <strong>of</strong> April, 1948, at 10 A.M. (Criminal business)<br />

The box containing the names being shaken and the<br />

slips or ballots bearing the names being mixed, Aldermen<br />

Hall and Reynolds, being designated for that purpose, drew<br />

from the box and read aloud names as follows:<br />
