Basic <strong>Command</strong>sNote: The disks in a RAID group must be either all Fibre Channel disks or allATA disks.-raidtype r6|r5|r3| r1_0Sets the RAID type of the RAID group during the time of creation.The supported RAID types are r6, r5, r3, and r1_0. For AX4-5series storage systems, the RAID6 is supported only on FLAREversion 02.23.050.5.7xx or later.!IMPORTANTThe -raidtype is a mandatory switch for AX4-5 series storagesystems running <strong>Navisphere</strong> Express. The -raidtype is an optionalswitch for AX4-5 series running <strong>Navisphere</strong> Manager and CX seriesrunning FLARE version 03.26.XXX or later.This switch is not supported on AX series storage systems or CXseries running FLARE version prior to 03.26.XXX.You can create a hot spare RAID group for AX4-5 series and CXseries systems using the disk bind command described onpage 79. You cannot create a hot spare directly for AX4-5 seriessystems running <strong>Navisphere</strong> Express.
