Basic <strong>Command</strong>sgetarrayuidDescriptionSyntaxPrerequisitesOptionsGets the storage-system unique IDThe naviseccli or navicli getarrayuid command displays the uniqueID (UID) of the storage system that contains the current SP. For aFibre Channel storage system this is the storage system WWN. For aniSCSI storage system this is also the WWN, but iSCSI also has a targetname, the "iqn" identifier, which is a unique identifier. A storagesystem with an iSCSI and Fibre Channel combination controllershows both types of IDs.The SP, HBA, and switch ports also have unique IDs. If you specifyone or more SPs (sphosts), then the <strong>CLI</strong> displays the unique ID of thestorage systems containing those SPs. Knowing the UID of an SP’sstorage system is useful with MirrorView mirroring commands andfor other operations.getarrayuid is used with naviseccli (described on page 37) or navicli(described on page 45) as follows:getarrayuid [-iscsi|-all] [sphostnames]For naviseccli, you must have a user account on the storage systemon which you want to execute the command.For navicli, you must be able to log in to the host running<strong>Navisphere</strong> <strong>CLI</strong>.sphostnamesAre the hostnames of one or more SPs, separated by spaces orcommas. If you omit sphostnames, then the <strong>CLI</strong> displays the UIDof the SP specified with the -h switch.-iscsiReturns the iSCSI target name (iqn) for the storage system on acombo storage system.-allReturns both the storage system WWN and the iSCSI target name(iqn).149
