Basic <strong>Command</strong>sarraynameDescriptionRenames a storage systemThe naviseccli or navicli arrayname command changes the name of astorage system. If you omit a storage-system name, the commandreturns the current storage-system name (in the format host-device orarray name).Note: AX4-5 series and AX series storage-system names cannot exceed 32characters in length.The <strong>CLI</strong> prompts for confirmation as follows.SyntaxPrerequisitesOptionsOutputarrayname is used with naviseccli (described on page 37) or navicli(described on page 45) as follows:arrayname NewArrayNameFor naviseccli, you must have a user account on the storage systemon which you want to execute the command.For navicli, you must have a user entry in the <strong>Navisphere</strong> agentconfiguration file.arrayname NewArrayNameSpecifies the new name for the storage system.If the version of FLARE software running on the SP does not supportthis command, a Not Supported error message is printed to stderr.Example naviseccli -h ss1_spa arrayname users11Change the arrayname from ss1 to users11? (y/n) yThis command changes the name of the storage system to users11.Note: To use this command with navicli, replace naviseccli with navicli.65
