Access Logix (Storage Group) CommandsNote: To use this command with navicli, replace naviseccli with navicli.storagegroup -sethost with -failovermode sets the type oftrespass needed for failover software. Use this command withcertain types of failover software if suggested in the failoversoftware Release Notice or manual.Changing the failovermode setting may force the storagesystem to reboot. The CLI will issue a confirmation requestthat indicates whether a storage-system reboot is required. However, the CLI will not issue a confirmation request first ifyou include the -o switch.!CAUTIONDo not issue the failovermode command option unless youknow the appropriate value for the type of failover softwarerunning on the servers connected to the specified storagegroup. The command is designed for transition from onetype of failover software to another. Changing thefailovermode to the wrong value will make the storagegroup inaccessible to any connected servers. This method of setting -failovermode works for storagesystems with Access Logix only. For storage systems withoutAccess Logix, use the command failovermode (see Chapter 3,”Basic Commands”).To discover the current setting of failovermode, use theport -list -failovermode or port -list -all command.Note: For information about when to use these failover modes, referto the Installation Roadmap for CLARiiON Storage Systems, whichis on the EMC Powerlink website.01Failover mode 0.Failover mode 1.Note: AX series storage systems support only failover mode setting 1.2Failover mode 2.316 EMC Navisphere Command Line Interface (CLI) Reference
