LUN Expansion (MetaLUN) Commandsmetalun -infoDescriptionSyntaxPrerequisitesOptionsProvides general information about a storage system’s metaLUNenvironmentThe naviseccli metalun command with the -info function and noother options displays all general information about the metaLUNenvironment for a storage system. Issuing this command with one ormore options displays the information based on the options issued.metalun -info is used with naviseccli (described on page 37) asfollows.metalun -info [-canexpand] [-nummetaluns] [-maxmetaluns][-maxcomponents] [-maxluns] [-availableluns] [-lunsinmeta]You must have a user account on the storage system on which youwant to execute the command.-canexpandSpecifies whether you can or cannot expand any LUNs ormetaLUNs on the storage system. - Yes or No.-nummetalunsDisplays the number of metaLUNs in the storage system.-maxmetalunsDisplays the maximum number of metaLUNs that the storagesystem will support (based on storage-system type).
