Basic CommandsflashledsDescriptionSyntaxPrerequisitesOptionsOutputTurns the LEDs for disks in a specific enclosure or bus on or offThe naviseccli or navicli flashleds turns on the LEDs in a specificdisk-array enclosure (DPE, iDAE, or DPE) or Fibre Channel bus. Thecommand can help you identify disks in an enclosure or bus.flashleds is used with naviseccli (described on page 37) or navicli(described on page 45) as follows:flashleds -e enclosure-number [-b bus-number] [on|off]For naviseccli, you must have a user account on the storage systemon which you want to execute the command.For navicli, you must be able to log in to the host runningNavisphere CLI.-e enclosure-numberSpecifies the disk-array enclosure. In each storage system, if thereis a DPE or iDAE, it is enclosure 0. DAEs are numberedsequentially on each bus ascending from 1 (for DPE/iDAEstorage systems) or ascending from 0 (for other storage-systemtypes.-b bus-numberSpecifies the bus-number.on|offTurns the LEDs on or off. If you omit this switch, the commandturns the LEDs on.There is no output. Errors are printed to stderr.Examples naviseccli -h ss1_sp1 flashleds -e 1 -b 0 onnaviseccli -h ss1_sp1 flashleds -e 1 -b 0 offThese commands turn on, then off the LEDs for the storage systemthat holds SP ss1_spa. For that storage system, it specifies enclosure1, bus 0.Note: To use this command with navicli, replace naviseccli with navicli.119
