These IDs are required for I/O tothe SP.We suggest you use a unique SCSI ID for each SP port in yourinstallation. For example, on the first storage system, for ports 0 and1, you can specify SCSI IDs 0 and 1, respectively. On the secondstorage system, for the ports you can specify IDs 2 and 3 respectively,and so on.The naviseccli or navicli alpa command -get function lists ALPAinformation. The information includes the port ID, the SP ID (A or B),and the SCSI ID associated with the port. Issue the command to theSP for which this information is needed.If you really need to change an SP port ID, you can do so with thealpa -set function.alpa -get is used with naviseccli (described on page 37) or navicli(described on page 45) as follows:alpa -getFor naviseccli, you must have a user account on the storage systemon which you want to execute the command.For navicli, you must have a user entry in the Navisphere agentconfiguration file.See above. If the version of FLARE software running on the SP doesnot support this command, a Not supported error message isprinted to stderr.
