See“Preinstallation validation checks”under ndu -install.The ndu command is not supported on NetWare and HP-UX operatingsystems. The ndu command is only supported by Secure <strong>CLI</strong> in <strong>Navisphere</strong><strong>CLI</strong> versions 6.24 and later.Note: Use the naviseccli ndu -install command to both run thepreinstallation validation checks and install software.SyntaxPrerequisitesOptionsndu -runrules is used with naviseccli (described on page 37) asfollows:ndu -runrules [pathlist] [-listrules] [-verbose]For naviseccli, you must have a user account on the storage systemon which you want to execute the command.You must have a user entry in the <strong>Navisphere</strong> agent configurationfile.pathlistSpecifies filenames, with full pathnames, of the softwarepackages to be committed.-listrulesDisplays a list of preinstallation validation checks that would runfor the specified host. The validations checks do not execute. Torun the validation checks, do not include this switch.-verboseDisplays all results of the preinstallation validation checks.Without this switch, only errors that prevent installation (failures)are displayed.229
