About <strong>CLI</strong> <strong>Command</strong>s-mSuppresses output except for values. This option is most usefulwhen used as part of a script.-npSuppresses polling on initial contact with the agent. This switchsignificantly increases performance when dealing with large ormultiple storage systems. The agent automatically polls unlessthis switch is specified.Note: When the -np switch is set, get commands may return stale dataand set commands may erase previously changed settings. Use cautionwhen the -np switch is set.-pParses the entered CMD without making a network call to theAPI. If the string does not parse correctly, an error message printsto stderr; otherwise a message verifying that the string parsedcorrectly prints to stdout.-t timeoutSets the timeout value. timeout specifies the value in seconds. Thedefault timeout value is 240 seconds unless theRaidAgentTimeout environment variable (described on thefollowing page) is set differently.The timeout value includes thetime allowed for the entire command to execute (including <strong>CLI</strong>,agent, and storage-system software execution time). The timeoutapplies to all commands except firmware.-qSuppresses error messages. This switch is useful when includedas part of a script.-vEnables verbose error descriptions.
