LUN Expansion (MetaLUN) Commands-defaultowner A|BSpecifies the new default SP owner for the metaLUN — A or B.-expansionrate low|medium|high|ASAP|valueSpecifies the relative importance of making additional LUNcapacity available to the host. It determines the amount ofresources the SP devotes to re-striping the existing data on theoriginal LUNs across the original LUNs and the new LUNsinstead of to normal I/O activity. This rate is available only whenyou first create a metaLUN and is important only for a stripeexpansion. Valid rebuild priorities are ASAP (default) or 3, Highor 2, Medium or 1, and Low, or 0.An expansion rate of ASAP or High re-stripes the data across themetaLUN faster than one with Medium or Low priority, but maydegrade storage-system performance.-newname newNameSpecifies the new name for the metaLUN. A valid name must notexceed 64 characters and must include at least onenon-whitespace character. This name must be unique on thestorage system.-oExecutes the command without prompting for confirmation.-sq tb|gb|mb|bcSpecifies the size qualifier for the capacity of the metaLUNcomponent.where:tb equals terabytes, gb equals gigabytes, mb equals megabytesand bc equals block count. The default qualifier is block count.Note: AX4-5 series storage systems running Navisphere Managersupport only terabyte (TB), gigabyte (GB), and megabyte (MB) sizequalifiers.-tomaxcapLets you expand the metaLUN to its maximum capacity.349
