Enter the LBA at which user datastarts in the host file system and the storage system will computethe correct offset automatically. The default is the lowest availabledisk address. Use a decimal, not hexadecimal, number.Hexadecimal numbers are not allowed. You can use the getlun-offset switch to learn the offset of an existing LUN.-pl placement (Not supported on AX4-5 series and AX series)Places a LUN in a RAID group. placement specifies whichalgorithm to use as follows:bf = best fit algorithm (the default)ff = first fit algorithm-r rebuild-priority (Not supported on AX4-5 series and AX series)Sets the rebuild priority: the priority at which to reconstruct dataon either a hot spare or a new disk module that replaces a faileddisk module in a LUN. This priority determines the resources thatthe SP devotes to rebuilding instead of to normal I/O activity. Itapplies to all RAID LUNs except RAID 0. Valid values are ASAP,High, Medium, and Low. The default is ASAP. A rebuild priorityof ASAP rebuilds the disk module as quickly as possible, butdegrades response time somewhat. If your site requires fastresponse time and you want to minimize degradation to normalI/O activity, you can extend the rebuild over a longer period oftime by specifying the Low rebuild priority.85
