Kvasivka Selians'ka - Tart Village Soup<br />

Servings<br />

c meat stock beef (or pork)<br />

c sauerkraut juice<br />

egg large<br />

1 c sour cream<br />

2 T flour<br />

1 t dill freshly,Chopped<br />

1/2 c potatos,Mashed<br />

1 rye bread croutons<br />

Bring stock to a boil & add sauerkraut juice. Mix in sour cream,<br />

flour, & egg. add a small portion of the hot stock. Mix then add to<br />

the pot & simmer for 3 minutes. Add the mashed potatos ands<br />

sprinkle with the dill. Seve with the ryebread croutonsmsprinkled over<br />

the soup.
