Profile: Established in 1948, Toys ‘R’ Us acquired exclusive rights to operate FAO Schwarz toy
store in New York City--one of the world’s most famous toy retailers. In 2011, the company took
over its licensee in Southeast Asia and China, representing 90 stores. In June 2010, Toys “R” Us
began opening a total of 600 Express locations nationwide. These smaller stores with a limited
