Creating an Instrument Control Method 169<br />

Direct Control<br />

Temperature (°C)<br />

The oven temperature can be set. The entered value will be transferred<br />

to the oven by clicking the Set button.<br />

Cooler Temperature (°C) (S 4050 only)<br />

The oven temperature can be set. The entered value will be transferred<br />

to the oven by clicking the Set button.<br />

Leakage Alarm Level (%) (S 4050 only)<br />

The leakage alarm level can be set. The entered value will be transferred<br />

to the oven by clicking the Set button.<br />

Digital Outs (Events) (S 4050 only)<br />

Click on the button to set up the digital outputs. Refer to the chapter<br />

described in the chapter Instrument Setup – Pumps, section Configuring<br />

Digital Outputs for details. Click the DO Apply button to accept the<br />

settings.<br />

Set Temperature Control (S 4050 only)<br />

Press the Off button to switch the temperature control off. It will be<br />

switched on again by setting the desired temperature and pushing the<br />

Set button.<br />

GLP (S 4050 only)<br />

The minimum and maximum reached temperatures, the total working<br />

time and the working time above 150°C will be monitored. The read out<br />

will be actualized by clicking on the Refresh button.<br />

Run Status<br />

The status HOLD will be displayed when no program is running;<br />

otherwise the Run Status displays a run time in minutes elapsed from the<br />

start of the run.<br />

Flow (ml/min)<br />

The actual flow will be shown in units as defined in the instrument setup.
