will be added with default settings. Please check, if these settings<br />

match with the installed option and change it, if necessary. All<br />

configuration data will be downloaded into the autosampler, if the<br />

instrument will be open. As an option, you can enter the IP address<br />

of your device, if the option “Use S/N to identify the instrument” is<br />

disabled. Please note, that in case the device receives the IP<br />

address from a DHCP server, e.g. a router, the IP address may<br />

change if the device is switched off and switched on.<br />

Loop Volume<br />

Enter the volume of the installed loop in µl. If the Prep mode option is<br />

checked, the loop volume is fixed on 10000 µl.<br />

Tubing Volume<br />

Type in volume of the installed needle and tubing in µl. The valid range is<br />

0 - 999 µl. If the original tube is installed, you can find the tubing volume<br />

on a label on the tube.<br />

Syringe Volume<br />

The volume of installed syringe can be set on 250, 500 or 1000 µl. If the<br />

Prep mode option is checked, the syringe volume is fixed on 2500 µl.<br />

Options<br />

Tray Cooling<br />

Check this box if you want to control the tray cooling. The appropriate<br />

corresponding temperature is to be entered later as part of the instrument<br />

setup.<br />

SSV (Solvent Selection Valve)<br />

Check this box if you have a solvent selection valve installed.<br />

Prep mode<br />

Check this box if you have the preparative instrument installed. The loop<br />

and syringe volumes then are set to a fixed volume (10,000 µl loop, 2,500<br />

µl syringe) and the tray type to the 12 vials type.<br />

Click the Tray… button to set up the autosampler tray:<br />
