from so far inside they don’t
seem coloured by you at all.
Your head roars with silence.
You love that silence

How do the words reach
each other? Telepathy,
cellphone, remote control?
No, they play grandmother’s
footsteps, smee, Chinese
whispers, blind man’s buff.
Le parole sembrano arrivare
da tanto lontano dentro che non pare
possa averle tu in alcun modo colorate.
