30 The totals do not correspond exactly with the numbers of convictions in accordance with Table B4.13.
This difference can be explained by the fact that Table B4.13 is based on the cases in which Article 240b
of the Dutch Criminal Code appears at the time that the case is registered with the Public Prosecution
Service and that this table is based on the cases in which Article 240b of the Dutch Criminal Code also
actually appears on the charge.
