38 The totals do not correspond exactly with the numbers of non-suspended or partially suspended custodial
sentences imposed in accordance with Table B4.15 (a total of 486 in relation to the total of 492
in this table). This difference can be explained by the fact that in some instances, the exact sentence
imposed was not recorded, even though it is known that a custodial sentence with a non-suspended
component of known duration was imposed.
