Situated in an old building at the
heart of Porta Palazzo, venue for one
of the largest markets in Europe, this is
one of the oldest grocery stores in Turin
and has been run by the Ceni family since
1963. Stefano and Paolo stock over 2,000
products with a special eye for natural
ones. The selection available is very wide
indeed, ranging from dried legumes from
Italy, the Middle East and the global South,
to more than 20 varieties of rice, from
stone-ground organic flours to couscous
meal. Here you’ll find even the rarest spice
or most scented blends of Berber and
Indian spices. There is also a huge choice
of flaked cereals, dried and dehydrated
fruit, jams and honeys, tisanes, seeds for
gardening and organic horticulture. Last
but not least, a good range of natural
body care and personal hygiene products
is available too.
