his high-class cake shop was opened in 2003 by Gianluca Molineris and
Federica Devalle, a couple at work and in private, bound by a boundless pas-
sion for baking and pastry-making. In November 2009 they moved the business to
more spacious premises, still in the town center, adding a cafeteria and tearoom
to allow customers to taste the house creations in loco. Everything is made rigor-
ously by hand, from the chocolate to 18 flavors of ice-cream and the patisserie,
with fresh sponges and cakes, bavarois, all sorts of pralines, mignons and various
types of verrine with Chantilly cream, not to mention savories and pies. Worthy of
special mention, finally, are the gianduietta, a cake that has been patented, and
the chocolate beverage, gianduiot nel bicerin.
