his high-class cake shop was opened in 2003 by Gianluca Molineris and<br />

Federica Devalle, a couple at work and in private, bound by a boundless pas-<br />

sion for baking and pastry-making. In November 2009 they moved the business to<br />

more spacious premises, still in the town center, adding a cafeteria and tearoom<br />

to allow customers to taste the house creations in loco. Everything is made rigor-<br />

ously by hand, from the chocolate to 18 flavors of ice-cream and the patisserie,<br />

with fresh sponges and cakes, bavarois, all sorts of pralines, mignons and various<br />

types of verrine with Chantilly cream, not to mention savories and pies. Worthy of<br />

special mention, finally, are the gianduietta, a cake that has been patented, and<br />

the chocolate beverage, gianduiot nel bicerin.<br />
