Sergio who, helped by his wife, has decided to gamble on buying up vine-<br />

yards to give this historic Mazzé winery a complete overhaul. He currently cul-<br />

tivates ten hectares of land with special care and respect for the environment,<br />

producing about 75,000 bottles a year. His main wines are: Erbaluce di Caluso<br />

Ypa DOC (a cru that expresses the variety’s qualities well), Erbaluce Spumante<br />

Rigore (Metodo Classico Brut), Caluso Passito Dus and Canavese Rosso Rox. One<br />

of the winery’s biggest gambles and, at once, the feather in its cap is its Erbaluce<br />

di Caluso Essenthia which, thanks to stabilization techniques to avoid filtration,<br />

release unique aromas. It is possible to visit the cellar to discover its perfect mar-<br />

riage of tradition and innovation firsthand.<br />
