Un traguardo importante <strong>Questa</strong> sesta edizione dei Maestri del Gusto corrisponde a un traguardo importante del progetto con cui anni fa siamo partiti, spinti dalla volontà di valorizzare l’enogastronomia torinese, i produttori, i commercianti e gli artigiani – i “Maestri”, appunto – che lavorano con impegno portando avanti la tradizione locale legata al gusto e alla qualità dei loro prodotti. Dalla prima edizione i Maestri sono cresciuti di numero a un ritmo di oltre il 30% l’anno e oggi sono arrivati a quota 156. Molti di loro, comprendendo l’importanza dell’iniziativa, si sono autocandidati e sottoposti alla valutazione delle caratteristiche che il progetto prevede: la “torinesità” stimata dalla Camera di commercio, gli aspetti igienico sanitari analizzati attraverso il suo Laboratorio Chimico e il gusto, compito affidato a Slow Food che proprio dal Piemonte ha saputo condurre a livello internazionale la coraggiosa battaglia per il cibo «buono, pulito e giusto». Negli anni è cresciuta non solo la quantità di questi “artefici” del gusto, ma anche la qualità da loro espressa, spesso proprio grazie alla partecipazione al progetto e ai consigli ricevuti. Anche per questo oggi l’89% dei consumatori che conoscono il marchio è disposto ad acquistare un prodotto segnalato sui Maestri del Gusto a un prezzo più alto rispetto ad altri. Questi sono solo alcuni dei risultati che abbiamo ottenuto nel tempo. Ma non sono tutti. L’attività di diffusione realizzata dal 2002 – attraverso campagne di comunicazione, degustazioni, iniziative promozionali – ha permesso 10
