Gianfranco Bettiol and Cristina Guzzon’s<br />

delicatessen is situated in Druento,<br />

near the nature park of La Mandria. Here they<br />

produce a combination of traditional special-<br />

ties and innovative dishes. Their cooking is<br />

based on top quality ingredients and respect<br />

for the seasons. The choice ranges from pep-<br />

pers with tartare sauce, milanese in carpione<br />

(marinated veal cutlets), lasagne with rabbit<br />

and saffron sauce and girelle, roulades of<br />

shrimp and curry, to winter dishes such as ra-<br />

violi with speck and potatoes or Gorgonzola<br />

and walnuts and the popular ravotti (ravioli<br />

filled with sausage and turnip). Meat dishes<br />

include roast sirloin of beef, loin of pork with<br />

vegetables and fillet of veal with vin brulè.<br />

Every Friday a special menu is prepared for<br />

lovers of fish. Desserts include all the classics<br />

(bonet, tiramisù, panna cotta), the Turinese<br />

delicacy cremino, a cream of coffee and plain<br />

chocolate, and hazelnut and chocolate cake.<br />

Honeys, jams and other goodies from mostly<br />

organic producers are also on sale.<br />

Closed Sunday and Monday.<br />
